Education eligibility for B.Tech, B.Pharma etc UG courses should be minimum 45% marks without grace (40% marks for SC/ST category candidates) where as for MBA, MCA etc PG courses minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in qualifying exam.
29 मार्च 2018 तक 1 लाख 64 हजार रजिस्ट्रेशन हुए। इनमें से 1 लाख 43 हजार ने फॉर्म भरे | एकेटीयू से संबद्ध इंजीनियरिंग और मैनेजमेंट कॉलेजों में पिछले साल 1 लाख 46 हजार सीटों के लिए डेढ़ लाख आवेदन हुए थे। चार राउंड की काउंसिलिंग के बाद मैनेजमेंट और इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों की महज 24 हजार सीटें ही एसईई के माध्यम से भरी थीं। इनमें भी लगभग दस हजार सीटें सरकारी कॉलेजों की थी, यानी निजी कॉलेजों की महज 14 हजार सीटें भरीं।
