Length of Expressway - Lucknow (Chand Sarai) to Ghazipur (Haidaria) Expressway 343 km long and linking with the 302 km Agra-Lucknow Expressway and the 165 km Agra-Greater Noida Yamuna Expressway.
Number of Lanes - Planned as a six-lane controlled expressway but expandable to eight lanes in future.
Districts Connected - Lucknow to Ghazipur expressway pass through Barabanki, Sultanpur, Faizabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Mau districts.
Cost of the Expressway and Date of Completion - State Government would be spending Rs 23,349 crore on building the project which would be ready by 2020. Rs 11,800 crore would be spent on construction, Rs 6,500 crore would be the cost of the land acquired for the project.
12 Companies Placed Technical Bids - Reliance Infotech, Larsen & Toubro, NCC (the erstwhile Nagarjuna Construction Company), APCO Infratech, Gayatri Projects, Afcons Infrastructure, PNC Infratech, BSCPL Infrastructure (erstwhile B Seenaiah & Company Projects), Ashoka Buildcon, KNR Constructions, Oriental Structural Engineers and Sadbhav Engineering.

Country’s longest Expressway Purvanchal Expressway - UP Expressway and Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) - Lucknow Ghazipur Expressway would be developed on the (EPC) mode of engineering, procurement and construction.
