B.Tech Admission 2017-18 Session in Dr. APJ AKTU or UPTU Lucknow Noida Region Only Through JEE Main Merit Rank No UPSEE Entrance Exam this Year PROPOSAL IS REJECTED BY UP GOVERNMENT ON 28 DEC 2016 according to TOI Newspaper. Uttar Pradesh Samajwadi Party say admission will conduct like previous year that is through UPSEE 2017-18. AKTU's CAB (Central Admission Board) was send this proposal to UP government which is already rejected, this process can helpful too increase number of admission in AKTU or UPTU ( Asia Biggest University ) under which more than 850 engineering and management college affiliate. AKTU Counselling 2017 process is also fully conducted by AKTU itself. JEE Main online registration application form start from 1st Dec 2016 on jeemain.nic.in official website.

Dr. APJ AKTU Proposal of Conduct Admission Process Through JEE Main Exam only is rejected By UP State Government and say admission in affiliated colleges would be held like the previous years through the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE). There are over 1.16 lakh seats in 619 AKTU affiliated colleges.

JEE MAIN 2017-18 detailed information bulletin or brochure containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria to appear, examination fee, cities of examination, State code of eligibility, age relaxation, eligibility for admission, reservation policies and important dates will be available on JEE (Main) website www.jeemain.nic.in on 01/12/2016.

JEE MAIN entrance exam will be conduct on date 2 April 2017 Offline Mode and 8, 9 April 2017 Online Mode.

QR Code on Degree Upload on DigiLocker | Dr APJ AKTU / UPTU Lucknow Noida

Dr. APJ AKTU or UPTU Noida Lucknow is first university in India which provide QUICK RESPONSE QR CODE on its all engineering and management DEGREE by this students can connect or upload their respective degrees, marksheets and migration document to DIGILOCKER MOBILE APPLICATION. A student would be able to access his/her document digitally by entering the ID and password of their locker. Examination controller JP Pandey said the degrees to be awarded could be verified with the help of the QR code. The documents will be digitally available.

"With the 'Quick Response' code, the degree will facilitate verification from anywhere and anytime. On scanning the QR code with a smartphone or a scanner, one would get a link, clicking on which would provide access to one's degree," said Pandey. If an employee wants to verify a student's degree, he can do so with the help of the QR code. He said the preliminary scanning of the QR code would show the name of the student, his division, enrollment number and roll number.

Dr. APJ AKTU University release a circular regarding Carry Over Paper COP or Back Paper Exam Fee Amount, according that aktu.ac.in circular date 29 October 2016 COP FEE IS RS 1000 PER EXAM for B.Tech, MBA and other courses. Previous it was Rs 750 per paper but know it increase to Rs 1000 per COP exam. Like if you have 3 back in a even or odd semester and want to give COP exam for that then you need to submit Rs 1000 * 3 = Rs 3000.We share the screenshot of that circular below.

"These colleges have been chosen on the basis of the availability of infrastructure for carrying out particular type of research in different fields. This is the first of its kind of an initiative at the university and colleges have been evaluated on a set criteria including equipment, curriculum, faculty, etc," Virendra Pathak, AKTU spokesperson told TOI.

He said the university has taken approval from the finance committee for granting funds upto a sum of Rs. five lakhs for those research projects which the authorities find productive and feasible.

"We have asked colleges to send proposals to the university. After a committee examines the projects for their quality, a maximum of Rs. five lakhs will be sanctioned for the particular project," Pathak said.

Maximum students who suffer is from 2010 to 2013 session and this result pending situation is create when GBTU and MTU re-merge into UPTU, as students don't know whether they fail or pass according university AKTU passing rules.

90% Seats Left Empty in Engineering | AKTU Admission 2016-17

Dr. APJ AKTU Lucknow or Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University counselling process for admission in 2016-17 session is completed but as many as 90% seats in the 214 engineering colleges remain vacant. University was trying alot to increase the number of admission but situation is same as previous years.

While 89% seats are vacant in mechanical and civil engineering streams, only 23% candidates have confirmed their admission to computer science engineering.

Figures indicate that at the end of the fourth round of state entrance exam (UPSEE) counselling, only 11,673 candidates confirmed their admission to engineering. AKTU has a total of 1.07 lakh engineering seats.

Previously in AKTU 2014-15, there were 1.5 lakh seats but only 48,365 students were awarded BTech degree. In 2015-16, there were 1.44 lakh seats. Of this, 1.08 lakh remained vacant.

Experts believe that the foremost reason behind the tremendous drop-out of students is the bifurcation and renaming of Uttar Pradesh Technical University into Gautam Buddh Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University during the Mayawati-led government in 2010. This was restored to its original name in 2013 by Akhilesh Yadav-led government. Last year, the university was renamed as APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University.

"The brand value is missing. A few years ago, a candidate craved to get a seat in colleges affiliated to UPTU. Now, it will take some years to get establish itself all over again," said Prof VK Singh, the pro vice-chancellor.

Senior officials at the university blame vacant faculty posts and lack of infrastructure, both in government and private colleges, for poor turnout of students.

"Lack of employment after graduating is a major factor. This creates hurdles in admissions to colleges in UP," said an official. The mushrooming of technical institutions imparting sub-standard education across the country has led to a situation where supply is outstripping demand. The state also lacks industries which can absorb students once they are out of college.

Another reason pointed out by senior professors is the high cost of education in UP.

"The scenario of poor admissions in engineering is a national phenomenon. We need better placements and accreditation to attract students to our colleges. Efforts are on to improve the quality of education. To begin with, we have gone digital in terms of evaluation and encouraging students for start-ups," said AKTU VC Vinay Pathak.

Number of Engineering and Management seats fill through UPTU / AKTU / UPSEE 2016 Counselling, according to some Hindi newspaper only 13000 candidate take admission in private and government college of UP through UPSEE 2016 counselling where 1.73 lakh seat available for admission in B.Tech, MBA, MCA, B.Pharm etc courses. Only top 10 colleges get 80% seats filled and rest college which are more than 600 in number maximum seat are still empty.
