Students of Dr. APJ Kalam Technical University (AKTU Lucknow Noida) will have the flexibility to use grace marks in any semester and in any year of the course. The new grace marks model was approved on 09 July 2016 by the AKTU examination committee.
Current or New UPTU AKTU Grace Marks Rule: A student has the flexibility of using 40 grace marks in any year as per the requirement. However, the new provision comes with a rider that maximum 15 grace marks can be used to clear a particular subject and for this he/she should have scored at least 15% marks in that subject.

11/07/2017 को एकेटीयू के कुलपति प्रो. विनय कुमार पाठक की अध्यक्षता में हुई परीक्षा समिति की बैठक में यह निर्णय लिया गया। परीक्षा समिति की बैठक में यह भी तय किया गया कि वर्ष 2015-16 में ग्रेस मार्क्स व प्रोन्नति की जो व्यवस्था थी उससे शैक्षिक सत्र 2016-17 के विद्यार्थियों को भी लाभान्वित किया जाएगा। इसके तहत एक सब्जेक्ट में विद्यार्थियों को अधिकतम 15 अंक का ग्रेस मार्क्स देने और संपूर्ण ग्रेस मार्क्स 40 अंक देने की व्यवस्था है। वहीं च्वॉइस बेस्ड क्रेडिट सिस्टम (सीबीसीएस) के तहत जिस विद्यार्थी को अगर 50 क्रेडिट मिले हैं तो उसे अगली कक्षा में प्रोन्नति दे दी जाएगी। वहीं परीक्षा केंद्रों पर ऑनलाइन प्रश्नपत्र भेजने की पिछले सेमेस्टर से लागू की गई व्यवस्था के कारण परीक्षा कार्य के खर्च में करीब तीन चौथाई कमी आई है। इसी तरह मूल्यांकित उत्तर पुस्तिकाओं का एक वर्ष के स्थान पर अब छह माह में वीड आउट कर दी जाएंगी।

Examination controller J P Pandey said the new system will be applicable from this session (2016-17) and will benefit over 32,000 students in around 615 engineering, architecture and pharmacy colleges affiliated to AKTU. The meeting also decided that every college associated with AKTU will have to update student attendance online and in the case of any anomaly a fine of Rs 10 lakh will be imposed on the college. UPTU AKTU Special practical examination will be held for students who miss their regular practical exam. The student will be charged Rs 10,000 fee for the special exam.
