UPTU announced online link and whatsapp number for students complaints and suggestions

Uttar Pradesh Technical University introduce a new facility for students in which students can complain online about problems related to result, mark sheet, certificate, examination etc. Soon university will provide a link on uptu.ac.in where students can complain about their problems even complain against college or facility is also accepted.

UPTU new vice chancellor Prof. Vinay Kumar Pathak say that university developing a cell for students complain which will resolve in 2 or 3 days. If his or her problems is not solve in given time then action will take against complain cell member. This facility help students a lot as they not need to visit Lucknow compass.

Previously UPTU announced a WhatsApp number 08004455599 for students for submitting complaints or suggestions .

Online admission form of UPTU students are incomplete

For the first time UPTU students fill their admission form online from 25 to 27 Non 2014, but many students form are incomplete. University inform the college about those students whose form are incomplete and give 13 Feb 2015 as last date to complete these forms. If colleges are not able to do this then university will stop the semester result for those students.

Free Education For All Students Doing 3 & 4 Years Professional Courses

Previously, UGC declared that All those Students who are doing Engineering will get Free Education If Their Father Income is Below 6 Lakhs.

Now, it is also made free on 5% reserved Seats For Those Students who will be doing 3 Years Professional Courses from the Session 2014-2015 having their Father Income Below 6 Lakhs.

This Rule will be Applicable on all the Courses of Engineering and Technology, Computer Application, Management, Applied Arts and Crafts, Hotel Management, Pharmacy, Town Planning and Architecture.

Apart from these courses, this will be applicable on all the 3 & 4 Year UGC Courses of Technical and Professional Courses issued by Central Government.

So,This Rule Covers Almost all the Courses of 3 & 4 Year issued by any University in India.

According to this Rule, Students will get Free Education on the Intake Seats reserved for any Course in the College and also on the 5%  Reserved Seats(Free Tution Fee).

So, Students taking Admission in the Upcoming Session will be Enjoying this Rule.

UPTU Convocation 2014 Gold and Silver medalists student list

UPTU has released the list of Gold and Silver medalists students. The results are of 2009 batch.

The convocation is going to be held on 11th Jan,2014 where UP Chief Minister , Akhilesh Singh Yadav will be showing his gracious presence. The students will be getting their degrees on 11th Jan with gold and silver medalists getting their rewards.

Everyone of us wish to be a medalist of university.

 Check the list to see if any of your college student is here in this list. Although the presence of name in the toppers list of University doesnt place a fullstop to your placement search, yet it gives you pride and honour to be one of only few lucky ones.

11th UPTU (MTU & GBTU) CONVOCATION on 11 Jan 2014 | UP Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav will be Chief Guest

UPTU'S 11th CONVOCATION Ceremony To Be Held On 11th January

After the Mergering of MTU & GBTU, it will be the first CONVOCATION of UPTU, in which THE Chief Minister Of UP Mr. Akhilesh Yadav will be the chief guest of honor in the ceremony and will distribute degrees and medals to the MTU & GBTU Students.

The CONVOCATION Ceremony is decided to be held on 11th January.

Also, the CHAIRMAN of National Innovation Council Proff. SAM PITRODA will be the guest of this Ceremony.

All Arrangements will be look after by the chief of UP and the Chancellor of UPTU Mr B.L. Joshi .

Students from more than 700 colleges of UPTU in which Students of Engineering, Pharmacy,Architecture, MBA  and MCA will be awarded Degrees.

Students passed from MTU will also get the DEGREE of UPTU

So, A Good News is that this time Students getting Degrees will get an Opportunity to meet the Chief Minister Of UP.

And Students can also Share their Problems in front of the Administration of UPTU (present in the Ceremony) which they faced during their Academics  Regarding the Improvement of the Education and Rules in the University.

UPTU follow MTU'S ACADEMIC MONITORING SYSTEM (AMS) from 2nd January, 2014

UPTU has also applied Academic Monitoring System (AMS) following MTU .
This was first applied to MTU but after the merger of two it has now been applied to the university UPTU.

It has bring along with it smiles to many sad faces of the university. There is a good news for all the students of UPTU belonging to 850 colleges of the university.

Now no one can stop the students by giving false status of their attendance from appearing in university exams from now onwards. Nowadays the collegs used to take false fine from students if their attendance is low. This will be going to stop completely after regulation of AMS.

Now the colleges will have to submit the attendance of every students (class or practical) daily to the university website. This will help the students as no one will be able to impose illegal fine on students by giving false status.

AMS is going to be regulated from 2nd January, 2014.

There will be different webpages for faculties and students. It will include the status of total number of lectures, practicals and daily topics taught in class.

Also, the internal assessment marks and test marks will be uploaded to the website.

The students can also register their complaints if any incorrect data is registered.

MTU Results not yet declared and updated, students eagerly waiting to appear in exams.

MTU(now UPTU NOIDA) has not declared the results of some of the students. There is much more awaiting of the results and thus these students whose results are not declared are not entitled to appear in the semester exams starting from 21st December.


Some of the side effects of forming UPTU Noida were seen yesterday at the university Noida campus.

Due to non-updation and non-declaration of results, the students reached the university campus to discuss their issues
with the officials of MTU Noida. Yesterday, 20 students of MTU visited the Noida campus. But they suggested students to go to UPTU Lucknow campus.


After the formation of UPTU once again, there are many problems which are being faced by the students. One of them is that no of the university officials are sitting at UPTU Noida centre. All of them are there at UPTU Lucknow campus. Thus anyone who used to go UPTU Noida campus to discuss his / her issue is suggested to visit UPTU Lucknow campus.

The results of some students have not yet been declared and of some have not yet been updated. This has become obstacle in the path of the students and some students thus are not allowed to appear in odd sem exams starting from 21 Dec, 2013.

If the result is not updated till 21st, then some students will not be appearing in exams and this will create a bigger issue for the university.

UPTU NOIDA : Intel Excellence Center in Noida campus

After the collaboration of MTU and GBTU , UPTU has started giving us surprises and this time again we will introduce you to one more surprise.

INTEL has made its excellence centre in UPTU NOIDA campus.

We at uptunews.in always strive to give you latest and correct information about all the stuffs related to UPTU. We published a post in June , 2013 that Intel would be opening up its excellence centre in Noida.The snap is shown at the bottom.

Now, INTEL has open up its excellence centre which is helpful for all the faculties and students of UPTU. The students will put their hands on and earn experience while the faculties will be improvising their skills.

This will also be helpful for placement opportunities of the students.

This centre is launching on 9th of December,2013 with the faculty  development workshop for three days . All the faculties of UPTU are welcomed here.


For the faculties of CSE,IT, ECE and Electronics and telecommunication , this workshop will be conducted free of cost.

It is the laboratory of INTEL where there will be around 50 Intel app development kit installed. The faculties will we getting chance to get associated with Intel Atom Innovation Kit Community.

Along with the faculties, it will be helpful fir the students to get enriched with latest
trends in technology...
