75% attendance necessary for UP scholarship - CCS University implement Biometric Machine in all Colleges

The rigging or fraud on the name of scholarship will no longer run in CSS affiliate colleges. As Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut has directed all the colleges to set up bio-metric machines for attendance verification. Students who have 75 percent or more attendance in biometric machines will get scholarships.

The director of the Social Welfare Department (Samaj Kalyan Vibhag) sent a letter to the Chaudhary Charan Singh University's for implement biometric machines for students attendance verification.

In the name of scholarship, the colleges made fraud from a long time. There were many cases of getting scholarship for colleges by showing fake admission. Several measures were adopted to prevent this game, but all was failed. The rules of compulsory attendance of 75 percent or more for scholarship could not be proved as effective, because their was no prove of attendance but by biometric machines it will easy for Samaj Kalyan Vibhag to verify students attendance.

Dr. APJ AKTU Lucknow 15th convocation, Ram Naik said by introducing the practice of sending question papers to 600 of its associated colleges online the varsity has not only saved over Rs1.5 crore but has also controlled copying and question paper leaks. A special guest at the event, technical education minister Ashutosh Tandon, said the state government was determined to help technical institutes excel.

AKTU vice chancellor Vinay Kumar Pathak said the university had started a quality improvement programme with an outlay of Rs 200 crore that would include improving infrastructure, enhancing research activities and employment opportunities of students. “In this 60% amount will be used for infrastructure development and remaining for digitalisation and enhancing research and employment programmes,” he said.

Rs 20000 for Final Year Project Selected - C.S.T.U.P. Engineering Students Project Grant Scheme

Dr. APJ AKTU Lucknow Nodia try to improve the quality of engineering by supporting the students by different means now according to a circular, AKTU should award Rs 20000 to every final year student whose project get selected. Interested Students need to download, fill and submit application form on cstup.org.

Council of Science & Technology, U.P. has initiated C.S.T.U.P., Engineering Students Project Grant Scheme for the IV Year (Final Year) B.E./B.Tech Students. (Refer the information attached). The Council will provide a financial support of Rs 20,000/- per selected project.
