UPTU 2015 Document Verification OTP [ One Time Password in UPSEE Counselling Procedure ]

Uttar Pradesh Technical University release official notification regarding UPSEE 2015 counselling process One Time Password. According to that notification, candidate please not share your OTP with any buddy as this may get misused. Like any candidate get fake call or SMS in which they ask for OTP, please not share it.


Students who verified their document get One Time Password on registered mobile number which will used to lock seat during choice locking procedure. If any buddy not get OTP password then he or she go to verification center help desk again and ask for OTP because its better to lock your seat as soon as possible. Many help desk say that when students start choice locking he or she get option for forget password from there candidate get their OTP ( who don't get after verification ).

UPTU OFFICIAL POINTS REGARDING ONE TIME PASSWORD

At the verification center, on completion of verification, candidates must ensure that they receive an OTP (One Time Password) on their mobile phones. The OTP numbers is necessary for the next step of counseling

8. Normally, the candidate should get an OTP number on the mobile phone immediately. In case if the OTP number is not received even after six hours, the candidates must visit website www.upsee.nic.in and should follow the procedure to get OTP number again. If not successful, candidate should contact verification center help desk or the control room at the University. 

THE OTP SHALL BE USED BY THE CANDIDATE TO LOGIN AT WEBSITE www.upsee.nic.in FOR THE FIRST TIME FOR ONLINE CHOICE FILLING. AFTER THE FIRST LOGIN, IT IS NECESSARY FOR THE CANDIDATE TO MODIFY ONE TIME PASSWORD. THE CANDIDATE MAY CHOOSE A NEW PASSWORD OF HIS CHOICE. THE NEW PASSWORD SET BY THE CANDIDATE WILL BE USED BY THE CANDIDATE TO LOGIN INTO HIS ACCOUNT FOR CHOICE FILLING. PLEASE DO REMEMBER THE NEW PASSWORD AND KEEP IT AS A SECRET.

    I have not received the OTP on my mobile even after three days of document verification at the designated centre. Please Help.
    The official at the centre told that the OTP can be obtained after logging in to the website http://upsee.nic.in I have tried to access the website. But there is no option of getting the OTP on the website. Please help since the date of choice filling is approaching. I do not want to miss it.

    I didn,t get otp even after 24 hrs.At verification centre they told that if server is not there,what will I do. They told to check upsee.nic.in.But no option is there.Please help soon...

    I am trying to generate the OTP using the "Re-send OTP" option created today on the upsee website. But OTP is not getting generated. It gives the message "Either your Roll no is invalid or you are registered". I have re-checked all the details to be filled and it still gives the same message without generating the OTP/sending to my mobile. What do I do? Pse help.

    I have gone for verification on 20th june and even now I have not received my otp.i have tried for it on http://upsee.nic.in .On this I filled my details and clicked on resend and it said that your roll.no. is incorrect your you are already registered.now what can I do? plz... help me.Its 24th june now.

    Can I use OTP number to lock multiple stream courses. Like the B.arch and B.tech seat lock counselling. Kindly suggest to lock more than two stream for locking the choice.

    step1- please manually type your date of birth in dd/mm/yyyy format.
    ex. 25/10/1995

    step2- try to login on 'Choice submission Login' screen by OTP, try only Google Chrome not the Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is not supporting login feature.

    I have not received my OTP for second counselling, where as registration was done on 19th July and got confirmation SMS. when i m trying to regenerate OTP, i always get error "You have entered invalid Roll number or you are not registered". Please help to regenerate OTP.
