UPTU VC RK KHANDAL RESIGN AND NEW VC IS ONKAR SINGH

UPTU Vice Chancellor R K Khandal resign from his post, UP governor Ram Naik accepted his resignation and new Vice Chancellor of UPTU is Professor Onkar Singh from Madan Moha Malaviya University of Technology Gorakhpur.

In January 2013, R K Khandal appointed VC of GBTU Lucknow and when GBTU MTU combine to reform UPTU then he become VC of UPTU. Problem occur on 12th January 2015 that is during UPTU convocation when UP CM Akilesh Yadav refuge to accept doctorate degree from UPTU and also don't participate in that convocation. After that R K Khandal send his resignation but not accepted by UP government. New UPTU VC Prof. Onkar Singh start his work from 30th April 2015.

Improvements in UPTU and UPSEE Counseling soon

The officials has released the notice that soon there will be improvements in Uttar Pradesh Technical University and Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination Counsdeling procedure 2015. The board is trying all the measures to improve the university and the counseling procedures. It has been seen that the students move to other colleges outside the state Uttar Pradesh. Also, the complaints have been notified about the education, teaching process etc. The measures are being taken by the university to improve all these things. The counseling procedures will be improved from this year. The authentication procedure has also been improved for the conduction of examination UPSEE 2015.

19 BBDNIIT TEACHERS DEBARED :

Nineteen teachers of BBDNIIT college has been debarred from the college. The action has been taken because the examination copies were found in waste . Those copies were not even checked. The university has also taken legal action against against these teachers by preventing them from occuring in any upcoming end semester examination. 

The examination marks of these students were adjusted by the officials. These things always create bad situation for the university. The university has to take steps and is taking steps to improve the name of the university. This will not only invite more and more students to the university but also creates good number of opportunities for the students studying in it.

  • The teachers are being debarred from the university for mischievous activities.

UPTU ODD SEMESTER RESULTS 2014-15 has been released by the university for almost all the courses. According to the latest report, almost 59% B.Tech students are having at least one backlog. Only 41% B.Tech students are clear pass in Uttar Pradesh Technical University odd semester result 2014-15. These stats are for the first year students. Almost 25% students are there who are having backlogs in at least 4 or more subjects out of 5.

In third year, 48% students are there who are clear pass in all the subjects and 52 % students are having at least one backlog. Overall there has been 9% decrease in the university results.

Hard Checking to Improve UPTU Semester Results:

  • The university officials have declared that the strictness has been imposed while checking the copies so that the students do more hard work to achieve good results. 
  • This will result in better placement opportunities for the students.
The students need to work hard to achieve good marks in the upcoming semester examinations. The result of 3rd and 7th semester examinations are good but of 1st and 5th sem examinations is much worse. The students will have to work hard to get better result and better placement opportunities.

Nothing can be said regarding the checking pattern about the university. Nothing can also be said about the question paper pattern of the upcoming even semester examinations 2014-15. The students need to work hard and study harder.

GHAZIABAD GREATER NOIDA UPTU COLLEGES CLOSING THEIR COURSES FROM 2015-16

Uttar Pradesh Technical University UPTU is now closing some courses of colleges due to decrease in number of students taking admission in these courses. The Institute of Business Management of ABES, Ghaziabad is being shutting down for the same reason. The counsel has already written a letter for this to the university. The institute has 120 seats but due to decrease in number of seats, the university has decided to shut it down.

Some colleges of university in this session has requested not to involve them in counseling procedure due to decrease in the number of seats. There are 11 colleges of Western UP including 5 colleges of NOIDA suffering from the same problem. There are 16 other colleges who have decided to shut down due to less number of students. Very few students take admission in B.Tech and that's why a large number of seats in these colleges remain vacant. The colleges have to invite students by giving them free fees or by giving discounts assuring them of scholarship.

Many colleges have also initiated the letter for decrease in number of seats. Around 18 colleges demand decrease in seats of around 47 courses. Anand colleges has demanded decrease in 60 seats for EI, Galgotia 60 seats for MCA,and ITS has demanded decrease in 60 seats for MCA course. There are many such colleges who have demanded decrease in seats due to the less number of admissions. The condition is so much worse that the colleges have to withdraw their name from the counseling procedure.

The effects of shutting down of branches will be such that the faculties will start leaving the colleges. The placements will not be done for the left over students since no companies will visit these colleges. The studies will also get affected and the teachers will search for job opportunities in another good colleges.

UPSEE UPSEE 2015 ENTRANCE EXAM CUT OFF MARKS FOR SC ST OBC GENERAL

UPSEE/UPTUSEE 2015 CUT OFF MARKS has been released by the university . The candidates can check out their UPSEE 2015 WRITTEN EXAMINATION CUT OFF MARKS . The written examination was held on 18th/18th April,2015. The candidates are now waiting for their results to come. The UPSEE 2015 RANKING will be obtained based on the marks obtained in the written examination. The students getting marks less than cut-off marks will be disqualified while the students with marks more than the decide cut-off will be eligible for ranking.

The students appeared in large numbers this year as compared to the students who attended the state entrance examination last year. The examination procedure was for 3 hours. There was a provision of 4 marks for correct answer but no negative marking was there.

UPSEE 2015 GENERAL CUT-OFF MARKS is decided to be 34%.
The UPSEE 2015 OBC CUT-OFF MARKS is decided to be 30%
UPSEE 2015 SC/ST CUT-OFF MARKS is decided to be 24%.

The students must have to obtain marks greater than the required cut-off marks. The students fail to do so will be considered disqualified. This year many students have given Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination. The UPSEE 2015 RESULT will be released soon.

107 UPTU COLLEGES WITHOUT AFFILIATION

107 UPTU COLLEGES are WITHOUT AFFILIATION in the university. The colleges are still running without affiliation to the university. The university has already imposed strict rules for affiliation of colleges but still some colleges are without the affiliation. The AICTE has also imposed strict regulations for the affiliation of colleges under Uttar Pradesh Technical University. There are many good colleges of the university under non-affiliation. The Btech, Pharmacy and other seats in this colleges can be removed due to non-affiliation.

The non-affiliated colleges are such because the conditions of study are not so good. The teaching standard is not also good in these colleges. The maximum number of Polytechnic colleges are there in this list. The main thing is that there are government polytechnic colleges.

The future of students studying in these colleges are under risk. Thus, these colleges will not be allowed to appear in the counseling procedure. Almost 6000 seats will remain vacant after the removal of these colleges from the counseling procedure.

UPSEE 2015: 25% SEATS OPEN FOR STUDENTS OUTSIDE UP

The university UPTU has made a recent announcement regarding UPSEE 2015 WRITTEN EXAMINATION and UPSEE 2015 COUNSELING. The total number of 25% seats are now reserved for the students studying outside UP. The university has raised this percentage due to the increase in number of requests. The UPSEE EXAMINATION will be conducted in the whole country. The examination will be conducted to fill up the vacant seats of Engineering and Technical Institutions of the university.

The written examination is going to be conducted on 18th/19th April, 2015. 25% seats will be reserved for the students studying outside UP. These students will be admitted in the vacant seats of Uttar Pradesh Technical University.
