UPSC COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAM:

• The examination is held every year two times for the admission to Indian Airforce, Indian Army, OTA .
• UPSC conducts the common entrance exam for Graduation level exam pass and appearing candidates who seek to join the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of Combined Defence Services (CDS).
• There are around 464 CDS vacancies including 200 for Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, 45 for Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, 32 for Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, 175 for Officers Training Academy, Chennai (for men), and 12 for Officers Training Academy, Chennai (for women).
• The candidates who clear the cut off marks are called for SSB INTERVIEWS.
• The SSB interview selected candidates will be called for medicals.
• After clearing medicals, the joining dates are provided to the selected candidates.
