41,520 Vacancy in UP Police Constable - Official Notification, How to Apply, Important Dates

Uttar Pradesh Government is going to provide bumper job opportunities in police department for 12th pass. Soon, Uttar Pradesh Government will be recruiting large scale in the Police Department. It is reported that about 5 thousand SI and 42 thousand Constable will be recruited. About 1 lakh 60 posts of police are lying vacant in the state. In order to fill these posts, UP police will recruit approximately 5 thousand sub-inspectors and 42 thousand constable posts every year. All recruitment will be completed in the next three years.

Constable Civil Police: 23520 Posts ( GENERAL-11761, OBC-6350, SC-4939, ST- 470)
Constable in Reserved Territorial Armed: 18000 Posts (GENERAL: 9000, OBC: 4860, SC: 3780, ST: 360)

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website http://prpb.gov.in/ from 22-01-2018 to 22-02-2018.

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be between 18 – 22 years for Male candidates, 18 to 25 years for Female candidates as on 01-07-2018. Age relaxation is admissible for SC, ST & Other categories as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 12th Class/ Equivalent from any Government recognized Board.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written Exam, Physical Standard Test, Document Verification.

Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.400/- for All Categories through Online mode by Debit card/ Credit card/ Internet Banking OR Offline by E-Challan.

Important Dates:
Starting Date for Registration: 22-01-2018.
Last Date for Registration: 22-02-2018.
Last Date for Payment of Fee: 23-02-2018.
