JEE Mains is conducted for engineering and architecture streams, and is the most awaited exam for every student who aspire to be an engineer or architecture. Good news for those who applied for this year’s JEE Main, Admit cards had been released by NTA on its official website (nta.ac.in). Top 2 lakh rank holders in JEE Main are eligible to appear for next phase that is, JEE Advanced, offering admissions to Undergraduate programs by IITs.
JEE Main 2019 are said by held on 8-12 January, 2019 in 2 shifts. Candidates are advised t reach the centres at least 1 hour prior to the exam in order to complete the verifications on time and not miss the exam. About 9.65 lakh candidates are reported to be appearing in JEE Mains this year.
The exam is going to be computer based and is not going to be held in offline mode. Students are advised to be well prepared for that and they can also try the mock tests from the official website of NTA. Test Practice Centre (TPC) are set up for the students who want to practice for the exam before appearing in the main exam. They could register of TPCs through the website of NTA or JEE Main.
In as candidates are unable to download their admit cards, they can contact the NTA helpline between 10 AM to 5 PM from December 17.
JEE Main will not be conducted by CBSE anymore, and instead has been handed over to National Testing Agency(NTA). NTA already conducted the UGC NET December 2018, which was monitored by them using live feed, and was said to be a huge success. JEE Mains are expected to be held in the same way.
