MTU- No decision on fail students for special carry over exams

No decision has been taken in the meeting held to discuss the issue of carrying out special carry over exams.

The academic meeting was held in the University campus on Monday regarding carrying out special carry over exams. But no decision was taken in the meeting. Since all members were not present in the meeting and there was no agreement between the present candidates, no such favourable decision was taken.

Getting unfavourable decision in their part, the students again gathered and cause 'Gherao' of V.C. and Registrar. The management has assured the students that in the next meeting the decisions will be taken in their part.

The students previously were exposing at MTU campus requesting to carry out special carry over exams at which the University officials decided to arrange a meeting on 14th of October regarding this issue.

The meeting started at 3:30 pm in the afternoon and continued for 2 hours. On the other hand , the students could also be seen waiting outside the campus since afternoon.
The meeting ended at which the officials replied that the decision would be taken in favour of the students but at that time no such decision was taken. This statement created havoc among students which created the roots of mischievous activities at University campus.

V.C Kaak said that the officials from Lucknow was not able to present at meet. Thus important decisions could not be taken and such favourable decisions can be taken only in their presence.
